Frequently asked questions
How do I find what percent one number is of another?
Divide the part by the whole and multiply by 100. For example, 30 is 75% of 40 because 30 ÷ 40 × 100 = 75.
How do I calculate percentage change?
Percentage change = (New − Old) ÷ Old × 100. Going from 200 to 250 is a 25% increase.
