Frequently asked questions
Will compression always make my files smaller?
Not always. Already-compressed formats like JPEGs, MP4s, and MP3s have little redundancy left to squeeze out, so a ZIP of these barely shrinks. Text files, spreadsheets, and documents compress much better. Either way, bundling multiple files into one download is still useful.
Is there a file size or count limit?
The practical limit is your device's memory and browser, since everything is processed locally — there's no server-side upload limit to worry about.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The ZIP is built entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device.
